Edition No. 17 takes us somewhere that requires intention. The kind of place you cannot simply Uber into. You earn it.

We have always trusted destinations that sit one step beyond convenience. Montauk at the far edge of Long Island. Vieques after the extra prop plane or ferry from San Juan. That added layer filters the crowd. What remains is a tribe.

This week, we’re boarding the boat south of Ibiza and slipping into Formentera.
